
LAG Pomorie supports the local economy through Measure 2 for processing of agricultural products
Eligible applicants
Eligible applicants must have a permanent address or registered office on the territory of the Pomorie LAG and fall into three main categories:
- Farmers: Natural or legal persons (including cooperatives), registered under the Agricultural Producers Support Act.
- Producer groups or organizations: Recognized by the Minister of Agriculture.
- Agricultural product processors: Legal or natural persons, registered under the Commerce Act or the Cooperatives Act.
Eligible activities
The measure covers a wide range of sectors, including milk, meat, fruits and vegetables, honey, cereal products, wine, vinegar and others. Eligible activities include:
- Construction or renovation of production and marketing buildings.
- Purchase of new machinery, equipment for processing, packaging, cooling and drying.
- Acquisition of specialized and refrigerated transport vehicles.
- Construction of RES installations for own consumption (up to 1 MW).
- Purchase of specialized software and implementation of quality management systems.
- Main agricultural investments, when related to social farming and/or those related to collective investments.
“Main agricultural investments” – self-propelled equipment for soil cultivation, harvesting and/or storage of the harvest, growing of plant and livestock production – wheeled tractors, tracked tractors, specialized self-propelled machines (forage harvesters, grain harvesters, etc.) and other types of self-propelled machines with a power greater than 50 hp, including when they are used in livestock farms. Attached equipment should not be treated as main agricultural investments.
Financial parameters
- Minimum project size: EUR 15,338.75
- Maximum project size: EUR 153,387.56
- Aid intensity: 50% of the total eligible costs.
- Maximum grant: up to €76,693.79 per project.
Evaluation criteria and priorities
Projects will be evaluated on a points system (max. 100 points), with a passing score of 30 points. Priority is given to:
- Projects involving the use of local suppliers of goods and/or services – 15 points
- Projects implemented in disadvantaged areas (Gaberovo, Dabnik, Laka) – 10 points
- Project proposals with investments that ensure the protection of environmental components through the production of sustainable energy from RES for own consumption – 10 points
- Projects whose implementation leads to the creation of at least 1 job – 15 points
- Projects including activities related to social farming and/or collective investments – 10 points
- Projects of applicants who have not received EU assistance during the 2014-2020 programming period – 10 points
- Projects related to the processing of certified organic products – 10 points
- Project submitted by an applicant – a woman or a young entrepreneur – 10 points
- Projects submitted by applicants with experience or education in the sector for which they are applying – 10 points
